Stang69 kirjoitti:I've got an original candian block heater, 1200W, 120V.
Have to install it though. Only have to find the right freeze plug to pop out. I know it's late in the season, but time is not on my side on this one.
CFR-759, can you send a picture of your heater location. I think I know where it is (engine right side behind the engine mount), but it would help me a lot.
As for the voltage, that's easy. As for I have the original wiring with it, an easy power converter 230V/120V will do. An other option is a small transformer. Easy installing and so, defa-interior heater and a canadian engine heater combined, of course with some handy work.
Anyway, Before I install the heater, I'll try to find a match with any Defa heater if any. I mean size-wise. As soon I know something, I post it here.
Thanks guys.
Hi,
I have in my 2007 GT also some kind of block heater. It is manufactured by Calix, but I'm not sure if it is installed inside of block or is it so called radiation heater.
Anyway I can take also some photos and send to you. Even as I have possibility to learn something new from my car.
